    Civil answers are OK, but some of answers in GK is wrong.. they are change it in future are not??

    Regarding Cutoff..

    We dont know performance of all students...

    We can only guess..

    Our Guess is

    325 is safe score for BC men,

    320 for MBC

    315 for SC men and BC , MBC women candiadtes..

    in civil wat r the question answers found wrong in the released tnpsc key.let us discuss here. for example
    1. slenderness ratio is eff length by minimum radius of gyration. so answers s none of these

    2. slack is.difference between latest allowable time and earliest expected time
    3. road connecting one town with another town s called district roads
    4. standard key board has 104 keys

      1. The void ratio of soil can exceed unity. This is the only correct answer. So the option is 1 anly

      2.Bearing capacity refers to Shear only. Bearing pressure means settlemennt criterion. so the answer is A

      3.Rapid test to determine the pollution status of river water is COD

      4. Early strength of cement concrete is by Tricalcium Silicate. Only initial hardening is done by Tricalcium aluminate. There is no connection for tricalcium aluminate with respect to strength.

      5.When the coefficient of friction is neglected, the ans. is V2 /127R

      b) Rapid test is COD

      c) Slack is Latest allowable and earliest expected

      d)slenderness ratio doesn't depends on maximum radius of gyration

      e) Obviously C3S only plays major role in early strength

      f) void ratio can exceed unity
      water content can be greater than 100 ( Ex bentonite)
      SM means Silty sand ( Not sandy silt)

    Touch-Thigmotrophism
    Gravity-Geotrophism

    2.A and B can together do a piece of work in 30 days.B alone can do it
    in 40 days.A alone can do it in 120 days:120days(answer:C)

    A+B can do a work in 30 days.
    ---> (A+B)'s one day work = 1/30

    B alone can take 40 days to complete a work.
    ---> B's one day work = 1/40

    (A+B)- B = A's time taken to complete the work.

    1/30 - 1/40 = A

    (4-3)/120 = A

    1/120 = A's one day work.

    Therefore, "A" alone can take "120 days" to complete its work.
